Sunday Services

Lent 2024

Our worshipping community is made up of people of all ages and from various traditions, and we offer a range of services to respond to a variety of needs. Our worship style can perhaps best be described as "reverent informality" - we are aiming for a space where all are welcome and encouraged to participate whilst also seeking to draw worshippers into an encounter with a holy God.

8am    Holy Communion (Holy Trinity Site)

Our 8am service is a short, said service of Holy Communion (Common Worship) attracting a small but faithful group of worshippers and offering an opportunity to meet with God in quiet and stillness, through scripture and through the sacrament of Communion. At certain times of year, under the right weather conditions, you will see the sun rise through the large East Window.

10:30am    Sunday Worship (St John's Site)

Our 10:30am service varies through the month:

Morning Worship (1st and 5th Sundays)
Holy Communion (2nd and 4th Sundays)
Connect (3rd Sunday)

At all these services, you can expect a warm welcome, a wide range of modern and more traditional worship songs, relevant Christ-centred and biblical preaching, and a friendly group of people of all ages seeking to learn how to follow Jesus better.

We are delighted to welcome families with children of all ages to our Sunday service.  We offer special groups for children and young people aged 3-18, led by our experienced and safely recruited volunteers, every Sunday except the 3rd when we remain together for our informal, interactive, intergenerational service, Connect.

To find out more about our children's groups please visit the Children and Young People page.

After the main service finishes, refreshments are served and there is an opportunity to pray quietly in the chancel area or to ask for prayer from our trained Prayer Ministry team in the side chapel.

The 10:30 service is also streamed live on Zoom.  For codes, please contact us.

5:15pm    Reflective Communion - 3rd Sunday only (Holy Trinity Site)

Evening Communion PostOnce a month, we have a reflective evening service. This is a traditional Holy Communion service with organ and hymns. Tea is served beforehand, from 4:30pm.

Our 10:30am service is at our St John's Site (location details here).

For more information about our different Sunday services, please click here.

What about my children?

We actively welcome families with children of all ages. If your child is a baby or a toddler, they will remain with you for the duration of the service. A welcomer will give you a Toddler Bag as you come in - these contain a variety of toys and games to entertain your child. We are aware that it can be very hard for a toddler to remain in their seat throughout the service. If your child is getting restless, there is space on the carpeted area at the back where they can move about - and don't worry at all if they make a noise!
